“Verizon recently partnered with Pivotal Commware, Inc., a Verizon Ventures portfolio company, to conduct trials in Dearborn, Michigan that improve 5G coverage and performance for residents and visitors by strategically placing intelligent repeaters to enhance and boost Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wide Band signal.”
“As we’ve known since our very early trials, high band spectrum provides more limited coverage from macro cells. Introducing repeaters like the ones we are trialing from Pivotal will help us expand the footprint of our new 5G Ultra Wide Band network and provide another tool in the toolbox for robust network design.”
"Pivotal’s solution is an innovative way to efficiently enhance the design of the network and improve service in hard to reach areas."

"Pivotal is delighted to partner with Verizon to accelerate their 5G Ultra Wideband rollout, and to help deliver a superior 5G user experience with gigabit speeds Verizon customers expect. We believe the immersive ultra-wideband 5G experiences people want are possible only with the massive bandwidth available at mmWave frequencies. To any mmWave critic, I'll stand up the enabling and disruptive capability of Pivotal's Holographic Beam Forming® repeaters – Echo 5G™ and Pivot 5G™, and their ability to substantially reduce 5G mmWave deployment costs while delivering ample signal to Verizon's 5G Ultra Wideband customers. The success of the Verizon/Pivotal trials in the Dearborn, Mich. shows that Verizon and Pivotal = #mmWaveSolved. Whether for mobile or fixed wireless, holographic beam forming technology solves mmWave coverage, penetration and shadowing loss challenges -- to achieve the performance end-users desire with the network economics, capability and installation speed that operators require. We look forward to continued innovation and success with our partner Verizon to bring high-performance 5G Ultra Wideband experiences to the masses."
