Glenn Lurie, Pivotal Commware Board Member, Shares Thoughts on $102M Raised for mmWave FWA Rollout

On Aug. 17, 2023, Pivotal Commware announced the completion of a Series D funding round totalling a $102 million Series D round led by Gates Frontier and Tracker Capital. Joining them as co-leads in the round are funds managed by affiliates of Fortress Investment Group, LLC, and Blue Investment Group. Among Pivotal’s existing investors, Verizon Ventures, Devonshire Investors, Thermo Companies, DIG Investment XV AB and Lux Capital participated. Glenn Lurie, a board member of Pivotal Commware, is optimistic about the company’s future. The former president and CEO of AT&T Mobility says that Verizon’s 5G and mmWave dominance has “positioned Pivotal and Verizon, as well as network operators worldwide, for sustained success.”
